GEP Turkey catalyzes Turkey’s entrepreneurship development

The Global Entrepreneurship Program Turkey (GEP-TR) catalyzes Turkey’s entrepreneurship development by identifying aspiring, high-impact Turkish entrepreneurs, linking them to global networks and funds, training them, and celebrating their successes. GEP-TR also engages in a close policy dialogue to enable greater levels of entrepreneurship in Turkey.

GEP Turkey is an umbrella structure that works in partnership with the many organizations focused on developing entrepreneurship in Turkey. GEP-TR is also part of wider global initiative called the Global Entrepreneurship Program, which grew from an initiative of President Obama and is now a core program at the US State Department guided by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, to promote entrepreneurship as a key pillar of foreign policy and the U.S. bilateral relationship with other countries. GEP Turkey is locally managed by the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV).
